The PSHE Curriculum (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) is about educating the whole child.
This academic year, Lawn Manor Academy have introduced Personal Development Days. These are Drop Down Days from the curriculum, of which there are five that run throughout the year. Each year group will experience sessions that cover the following areas:
These days are important, as they allow pupils to learn about important’ life skills’, that are not covered on the normal curriculum.
As well as the Personal Development days, outside speakers will often lead assemblies, that cover important issues such as plastic pollution, knife crime and smoking prevalence.
